After 9 months of struggling, studying and adapting to the new life in the UK, i'm finally going back home for the summer holidays before coming back to UK to continue my final year. In this 9 months, so many things happen from meeting new friends to visiting the clubs for the first time, saying goodbyes to friends etc. I have to say staying alone in a place so far from home makes me a more independent and calculative person. First time i have to look after my own daily food and washing. Having to find my own way around a totally new place and travelling around different part of the country. I had become a more calculative person as given a limited amount of money per month i have to calculate carefully the prices for the items. University life to be honest is no much like back in the Diploma days where the class bonds together really well. Maybe it is because there is huge amount of various culture and skin color people so in the end people will usually mixed with groups that they feel more comfortable with and also as i'm a direct 3rd year entry student thus alot of the student already have their own clique. But oh well at least i met alot of great people on the way as well. Overall i still think is a wonderful experience although sometimes tough. But is all worthwhile. And on a final im so looking forward to going home. |
